This piece is about Superman. The story captured is that of Clark Kent as he enters the Fortress of Solitude for the first time. Though aware of his uniqueness all of his life, he has lived with more questions than answers. Upon entering the Fortress of Solitude, he is able to come to terms with his special powers. This fortress is a sacred place that represents his connection to the source of his power and purpose. It is the place where he truly becomes Superman.
